Heartbeat Head of Technology David Sakadelis Named to PM360 ELITE 100

New York, May 16, 2019 — PM360 Magazine, one of the premier information resources for healthcare marketers, has named Heartbeat VP/Group Director, Head of Technology, David Sakadelis, to the 2019 PM360 ELITE 100. David was selected in the “Tech-Know Geeks” category, honoring innovators who have spearheaded technological breakthroughs that have helped to reshape the industry.
The PM360 ELITE Awards were established in 2015 to recognize individuals who have made a significant impact to the healthcare industry. More than 500 submissions were received and nominees were evaluated based on their accomplishments, peer testimonials, and supporting evidence that reflects the impact of their efforts. This is Mr. Sakadelis’ first PM360 ELITE 100 Award win.
With 20+ years of IT and marketing experience, Mr. Sakadelis has established himself as one of the industry’s primary champions of incorporating new technology into the healthcare ecosystem. He has served as the head of Heartbeat’s in-house Technology department for the past 12 years. During this time, he has led the development of a multitude of tech-inspired campaigns for Heartbeat clients, while also establishing Heartbeat’s internal innovation team named ETCH—shorthand for Heartbeat “Experiential Technology.” It’s within the ETCH program that he and his team have been able to incubate innovative new ideas through short cycles of business-driven exploration and experimentation, inspiring the imaginative uses of cutting-edge technologies that have become breakthroughs for both the agency and its clients. Included amongst the many ETCH successes is Heartbeat’s EHR Connected Patient Service, which was selected as one of PM360’s Most Innovative Achievements of 2018.
